6.3.1.2.2 River regime protection - restrain the rate of discharge to the greenfield runoff.

6.3.1.3 River flooding protection - restrain the excess volume of runoff from urban developments to that of greenfield runoff.

6.3.1.4 Excess urban runoff volume - provide "long term" storage for the additional runoff volume produced by the development to protect against river flooding. If the long term storage cannot be provided through infiltration then attenuation storage with a discharge limit of Qbar up to the 100 year return period is required.

System1 (Storm), Simulation, Source Control and APT modules enable compliance.

River regime protection is covered in the Flood Risk Assessments, Greenfield Runoff and Unit Hydrographs training course.
